MUSKEGO VS. WAUKESHA NORTH

Ben Kuglitsch, RHP, Muskego, 2026
Florida State commit. Listed at a lean and athletic 6-foot-2, 173 pounds with long levers and plenty of room to add. Currently ranked No. 2 in Wisconsin’s talented 2026 class and No. 124 nationally. Monday provided us our first in-game look at Kuglitsch and it certainly did not disappoint. On the bump, Kuglitsch features simple mechanics and pairs it with a quick, loose arm that produced fastball velocities up to 91 mph in his four inning start, while sitting in the 88-90 mph range throughout. He went to a sharp, low-70s 11/5 curveball with late depth early on into the game while he found the zone with his fastball and it continued to get sharper as the game went on. He finished his illustrious outing with 10 strikeouts and allowed just three walks across four frames while looking the part of a high-end two-way talent inside of the Badger State.

Brock Lulewicz, INF, Muskego, 2024
Wichita State commit. Built at a strong 6-foot-1, 205 pounds. Currently ranked No. 7 in Wisconsin’s 2024 class and No. 321 nationally. Lulewicz came up clutch a couple of times for the Warriors in their Power 25 win over Waukesha North a couple of times on Monday night. His bat-to-ball skills continued to impress in the matchup, as he collected a pair of RBI singles, in which he went with the pitch and sent one to his pull side, the other to the opposite field. On the infield, he is a low effort mover with fluid footwork and is a naturally confident defender with fundamental all-around actions. A vocal leader for Muskego, Lulewicz is one of the most confident competitors in the state and it is evident that he will do just about anything to help his team win.

AJ Curtis, RHP, Waukesha North, 2024
Wisconsin-La Crosse commit. Sturdy 6-foot, 180-pound frame. Curtis has been on a tear this season for the Northstars and he is a big reason for them earning a No. 24 spot inside of our updated Power 25 rankings. While he was tasked with the loss in Monday’s matchup, Curtis held a talented Muskego lineup relatively quiet in his 6.1 innings of work, allowing three earned runs on four hits and he also punched out eight. Curtis is a repeatable and controlled mover on the mound with a whippy arm that offers some considerable projection in there. Curtis was able to consistently spot up both of his pitches during his outing; the first being a fastball in the mid-80s that plays with some late life through the zone. He went to a sharp breaking ball in the lower-70s that kept hitters off balanced throughout.
