Wyatt Gettman 1B / LHP / Ralston , NE / 2024

The Briar Cliff University commit threw five perfect innings on April 22nd, striking out 12 and leading Ralston to a 12-0 win. The 6-foot lefty leads the Rams in innings pitched (29.2) and strikeouts (35).

PLAYER OF THE WEEK | KALE FOUNTAIN

Kale Fountain 3B / RHP / Norris, NE / 2024

Rankings StateRank: 1 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 12 / POS: 1

With his trademark performance, Kale Fountain played a pivotal role in the Titans' victory over Gretna. His 3-for-3 performance, including a pair of doubles, was instrumental in securing the win.

On the week, the LSU commit reached base 11 times in 16 plate appearances and added six stolen bases to help claim the Class B state record of 81.

He also struck out four over 3.2 innings on the mound, earning two wins.

Hopefully, he will slow down and let someone else win Player of the Week next week.
