#1 Brophy 15 vs. #4 Hamilton 0

In a highly anticipated matchup between two powerhouse teams, the Brophy Broncos proved their dominance with an impressive 15-0 victory over the Hamilton Huskies. The game, which pitted the top-ranked Brophy against the fourth-ranked Hamilton, showcased the Broncos' prowess both on the mound and at the plate.

Jack Ohman, the starting pitcher for Brophy, delivered a masterful performance, tossing a complete game over five innings with five strikeouts, two walks, and only three hits allowed against one of the state's best hitting teams.

The Broncos' offense was firing on all cylinders from the get-go, putting up runs early and often. Standout performances included UCSB commit Jack Meissner, who went 2-3 with a towering home run in the late innings that effectively sealed the deal for Brophy. Additionally, the Broncos flexed their offensive muscles with three triples on the day, including a highlight-reel hit from LMU commit Willie Cornejo-Farmer, who finished the day 2-4 with four RBIs.

While the game may not have lived up to the pre-game hype, the Brophy Broncos demonstrated that they are a force to be reckoned with as they dominate in their first stadium game of the AIA playoffs. With their pitching staff firing on all cylinders and their offense clicking, the Broncos will undoubtedly be a tough opponent for any team in the postseason.

Fans can expect to see some of Brophy's top arms, including Jack Lafflam, ready to go in their upcoming matchup against Sandra Day O'Connor. As the Broncos continue their quest for championship glory, they remain a team to watch in the Arizona high school baseball landscape.
